Site Adapt Production Support

DMFA

Modly provides a suite of prototyping, product development and integration services for the Clean Cube line of products.

Modly serves as the lead designer and product integrator during product development cycles, working with a diverse consultant and supplier team.

During the deployment phase, Modly leads the Site Adapt teams and coordinates the BIM/ VDC process with the main building team.

Modly provided early phase conceptual design for the product owner, working with the engineers of record and the fabrication team to coordinate manufacturing and assembly.

Product development also involves supporting launch activity.  We continue to provide an array of market facing materials in support of the Clean Cube product including technical manuals, guidelines, and presentation materials.

Working with suppliers, fabricators and manufacturing partners is an especially important aspect of product development.  The Clean Cube is a complex and multi-trade building product and we were fortunate to develop relationships with some of the best suppliers and fabricators in the business.  These relationships are one of the most critical factors in any IC effort.

An integrators mindset is essential for DFMA. Early phase IC design must anticipate assembly sequence and constructibility.  We work hard to involve our installers early in the process while the design is still 'wet'.

A key challenge for this product is the sheer density of coordination involved in the Operating Room podium, which is after all the beating heart of any modern hospital.

The details and precise locations required in the wall package can literally mean the difference between life and death.  Every clinical customers needs are unique and precise.  Site adapt coordination work is exhaustive- but that's what it takes to compress schedules from months to weeks.
